Auckland DHB is one of NZ’s largest public tertiary hospital providing teaching and training opportunities from three sites – Auckland City Hospital, Starship Children’s Health and Greenlane Clinical Centre. We need Anaesthetic Technicians for our perioperative services with over 35 operating rooms covering all major specialties for adults and paediatrics operating from 5 departments. Opportunities are available almost all specialties – Trauma and Emergency, Cardiac, Womens’ Health, Paediatrics and day stay and elective surgeries.

You will be a qualified ODP/Anaesthetic Assistant/Technician with at least 2 years post qualification experience preferably from a mid to large tertiary hospital and be eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ (www.mscouncil.org.nz). You will have excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills with a great attitude and will meet the criteria for immigration to New Zealand (www.nzis.govt.nz).
