As our Theatre Manager, you will provide expert clinical and strong managerial leadership throughout the department. Everyone will look to you for advice and expertise relating to professional issues. We will look to you to maximise theatre utilisation, consultant compliance and maintain the highest clinical standards. High quality patient care during their perioperative and during the immediate recovery phase of care will be your priority. You will achieve this by ensuring all departmental staff members deliver the best patient care with the available resources and agreed departmental budget.
To join us, you’ll need to be a registered Clinical Practitioner with NMC or HPC with the relevant post-registration Theatre/Anaesthetic qualification. You will bring to the role a range of skills, with expert professional and clinical knowledge acquired through recognised training and qualifications. On offer is ongoing training and development, including training in First Surgical Assistant as well as a course to be a Clinical Educator/Mentor.
